The Andes - 11 000 kilometers by bike to promote blood donation.

As soon as i come back from a bike trip in ex Yougoslavia and Romania, I will fly other Atlantic ocean for a new travel. This time, it will not be less that 10 000 kilometers that I will ride around the Andes Cordillera, between Lima and Ushuaia. This travel was a dream, it becomes truth !
As for all my travel around the world (Europe, New Zealand, Balkans) I will promote blood donation on my way for the organisation " The great Heart travelers". It will be the third continent where the great heart travelers have promoted blood donation !
After this travel, I will have ride more than 25000 kilometers around the world to promote blood donation. You can view this travel on "stages" that I will update stages after stages. Enjoy your trip !

I love cylism. I've already ridden more than 29 000 kms. I've already made twice the turn of Massif Central (in 2001 and 2002), a turn of the Alps (ridden up the famous cols ridden during the France Tour, 2003), a Europe Tour of 5400 km in 2004, a New Zealand Tour of 2750 km in 2005 and a Balkans Tour of 53000 km in 2006. This three last tours have been done for promoting blood donation.

From July 2007 to march 2008 I will ride 14000 kilometers more in Balkans, Romania and South America. The adventure keeps going !
In August, 1997, I had a tractor accident: I felt down in a ravine. Conclusion: 4 days in coma, my two lungs had exploded. Blood donors saved my life. I want to thank them with all my heart and to promote their action.
So, I created the association "Great Heart Travellers" with my best friend Fabien and already ride more than 14000 km promoting blood donation. The goal is to go other 24000 km after this two travels ! Let's go !
